GENERAL ELECTION: COMPARING VIEWS ON INFRASTRUCTURE

New briefings analyse parties' pledges and compare against ACE asks

Further to the publication of the ACE Manifesto last week, members can now access a number of documents exploring the major parties' general election pledges in-depth.

Once logged in, ACE members can access three exclusive policy briefings:

  • A review of the the parties' pledges;
  • An easy-to-digest view of the major topics of note for the three major parties' manifestos;
  • A simple benchmarking exercise that compares our policies against those of the three parties.

A number of asks in ACE's manifesto were picked up by the media. Our proposal for a crowdsourced app to tackle flooding was covered by New Civil Engineer, Infrastructure Intelligence and Water Briefing.

Our ideas on housing development and prioritising brownfield development were picked up by  Construction News, PBC Today and 24 Housing.

Head of Public Affairs Michael Lunn also shared his views on some of the topics within our manifesto in a blog post.
