POWER BI FOR BEGINNERS
INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP

ACE’s Emerging Professionals are hosting an in-person Power BI for Beginners workshop at AECOM in Birmingham on Thursday 12 January 2023 at 5.15pm.

Power BI is an interactive data visualisation software product developed by Microsoft, with a primary focus on business intelligence.

Andrew McPherson, associate director at AECOM, will give an introductory talk through some of the Power BI basics, and share real life examples of how he has used Power BI to improve his work and output. Following this, attendees will open up Power BI on their laptops and explore some of its basic tools with experts in the room.

We hope that by the end of it you will have gained a basic understanding of Power BI and possible ways it can be used in your own work.

Please note that it is essential to bring a laptop and charger, with the desktop version of Power BI installed. Please note this is a ‘paid for’ application, but your organisation should be able to organise this on your behalf.

Please note that attendance is on a first come, first served basis and that it is limited to 25 people to ensure the smooth running of the interactive workshop. If following your registration you can no longer make the session, please inform the organisers.
