JOINT ACE PLACES AND CLIMATE ADVOCACY GROUPS MEETING

In November we will be holding an In-Person joint ACE Places and Climate Advocacy Groups meeting in Manchester.

The theme for this session is Homes and Retrofit exploring how our sector can play a key role in unlocking regional growth.

The group will hear from Cllr Gavin White, executive member of housing and development, about how Manchester City Council is driving growth through sustainable housing and innovative retrofit projects, unlocking new opportunities in the sector.

Ashley Bateson, director &head of sustainability at Hoare Lea will explore the building aspects of the ACE Places group, offering further insights into the sector's role in shaping regional development.

The groups champion a practical approach to placemaking, climate change, sustainability and society’s journey to Net Zero, shaping EIC’s interactions with policymakers, supporting evidence-based thought-leadership, and ensuring our industry is seen as part of the solution to our climate crisis.
