ACE AT CONSERVATIVE PARTY CONFERENCE
Join the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and member Arcadis, along with prominent parliamentary and local government speakers for a discussion on the role of infrastructure as part of the Government’s plan to level up the UK.
Learn more about the work of our levelling up taskforce and help contribute to its forthcoming report on left behind places. We will explore what Levelling Up means in practice, and how the challenges and opportunities differ across the country whether coastal communities, post-industrial areas, rural locations, or cities.
Chairing proceedings is Peter Hogg (Arcadis and ACE levelling up taskforce chair), Ruth Jeffs (Waterman and ACE Midlands chair), Lord Gavin Barwell (former Downing Street chief of staff and former Minister of State for Housing and Planning), and Daniel Cochlin (Northern Powerhouse Partnership).
Levelling Up Britain’s Left Behind Communities, is a physical event at the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester which takes place at Exchange 11, Manchester Central (inside the secure zone) at 3.30pm on Sunday 3 October 2021.
Please note this event is delivered in partnership with ACE member Arcadis.
