BUILDING INCLUSIVITY: WELCOMING ALL ABILITIES
The cross-industry ED&I campaign, Building Inclusivity returns with a series of online roundtables in 2023 exploring overcoming the ageism, disability, gender, and socio-economic barriers to more welcoming workplaces.
The online events, which in the spirit of the campaign are open to all – members and non-members alike – will bring together subject matter experts and lived experiences from across the membership base.
'Welcoming All Abilities' explores disability in the workplace and how we can overcome unconscious and conscious bias against someone because of their condition or impairment. It will also look in detail at the numerous pieces of legislation around the issue and how your company can ensure it follows best-practice.
Joining your host, ACE’s director of people, culture and skills Claire Clifford is Dr Hannah Saunders, Research Fellow in Law at Queen Mary University London, and Jane Hatton, Founder of Evenbreak.
In an informal setting, the roundtables are intended to inform and inspire, allowing people/HR professionals, business leaders and team managers to take positive steps towards improving inclusivity in their own organisations.
