RIGHT TO WORK CHECKS 2022
WEBINAR
RIGHT TO WORK CHECKS 2022
Join ACE for a special member-only webinar hosted in partnership with the Home Office’s Immigration Policy team.
The online event will unpick forthcoming changes to the immigration points based system and checks, which will be updated from 6 April 2022.
As a result of these changes, a new digital system will be introduced to confirm:
- Migrants who have a standard work or residence permit
- British and Irish citizens’ right to work.
With the temporary adjustments on right-to-work checks introduced owing to COVID-19 ending, and the Home Office advising that businesses and individuals could be liable for up-to £20,000 in fines if found guilty of employing someone who does not have the right to work in the UK, it is vital that employers understand the new legislation in detail.
Joining Claire Clifford from ACE is Lee Graham from the External engagement team and John Harrison, Policy Manager – Right to Work, Compliant Environment & Enforcement Unit.
This webinar will take place on Tuesday 5 April at 10.30am to 11.30am and is open to anyone working for an ACE or EIC member.
