WATER

A critical national resource, those who play a role in providing the UK with water bear a huge responsibility. Infrastructure plays a key role in ensuring a plentiful and safe supply of water across the country.

Unlike other groups, our Water group brings together ACE engineers and EIC members with an interest in water and its associated areas – usage, drainage, utilities, and flooding. The group regularly engages government, regulators like OFWAT and water utility companies.

The group informs ACE’s thought-leadership in this area, producing innovative yet tangible proposals to meet the challenges of an aging infrastructure facing unprecedented demand, regularly responds to government consultations, holds events and writes articles for the trade press. The group also informs EIC’s work in this area.

The group meets quarterly. Members include representatives of the following ACE member companies: BWB, Jacobs, Mott MacDonald, Pick Everard, Rivelin Bridge, Royal Haskoning DHV and Stantec UK.
