The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) champions infrastructure to government and other stakeholders, representing the views of around 400 members.

Membership provides access to a range of sector-specific services including: networking at world-class events, the best in industry news and analysis from Infrastructure Intelligence, and access to legal, HR and business support.

All of this helps your company to raise its profile and positively influence the sector.

Membership is available to any company with a registered office in the UK and is charged on a sliding scale based on organisation headcount, making it affordable and accessible, no matter your size.

We were by our members side during the pandemic. Our covid webinars helped more than 3,000, while our pandemic advice – finance, redundancy, wellbeing, test & trace and vaccinations – was viewed more than 6,000 times.

We were a driving force in the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and made the case in our weekly calls with Ministers, securing wins on furlough, loans, prompt payment, contract disputes, and Talent Retention Scheme.

We continue to be heard by government with recent member wins on the Construction and Consultancy Playbooks, Levelling Up Fund, National Infrastructure Bank, NSIP and Construction Pipeline.

We're exploring themes such as procurement, places, transport and Net Zero – clearly articulating the voice of consultancy with more than 675 media mentions in 2020/21. Thanks to our briefings and webinars, we help you digest key policy announcements.

SHAPING OUR INDUSTRY'S FUTURE

We keep you well connected and ahead of trends. We explore digital transformation, future of workplace, skills and the markets of tomorrow in our Future of Consultancy campaign.

We create opportunities to network and share best practice through our groups and event programme with over 80 webinars and virtual events in 2020/21. We give a voice to, and create opportunities for, the next generation of industry leaders through ACE Emerging Professionals.

CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH

We provide access to leading business experts through our affiliates – PI Insurance, legal, R&D tax credits and technology – as well as dedicated services for SMEs through our forum, legal and contract support, and the recently published Guide to Net Zero.

Thanks to our regional and national groups, which held more than 20 events in 2020/21, we create opportunities with clients keen to approach us – for example the £3.7bn New Hospitals Programme.
