ACE’s Health and Safety forum has launched a new toolkit to enable all ACE members to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week with their employees.
Taking place on 10 to 16 May 2021, Mental Health Awareness Week is the national campaign for mental health and wellbeing. Following a difficult and repetitive year of pandemic lockdown and homeworking, it offers a great opportunity to engage with your colleagues on this vital issue which affects more than one in four of us.
This year celebrates the five ways to wellbeing and is urging employers to encourage employees to reconnect with nature.
To help ACE member businesses make the most of the week, a mental health wellbeing toolkit has been compiled which links to a range of vetted tools, as well as sources of information, support and advice.
To coincide with its launch, the Health and Safety forum hosted a webinar chaired by Laura Hague, who is also group safety manager at Mott MacDonald. The virtual event also featured case studies from ACE member companies including Capita, Geo-Environmental Services Limited, Hoare Lea and WSP in the UK.
Together they explored how the COVID crisis has meant wellbeing has leapt up the agenda and share how they have approached the issue in their own workplaces.
Once logged in, members can download the toolkit below.
