With the Brexit deadline of 31 December fast approaching, the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) has organised a practical webinar designed to provide support, advice and guidance to help businesses deal with the uncertainties ahead.
Brexit: The Final Countdown will explore what the UK's exit from the EU will mean for construction businesses.
Joining webinar host, ACE chief executive Hannah Vickers will be ACE’s HR expert Claire Clifford who has recently joined the organisation and James Butcher, head of policy at the National Federation of Builders, who also leads the Construction Leadership Council’s Brexit working group.
Together all three will explore issues relating to movement of people, services, finance and operations and how the UK’s new relationship with Europe will change how the industry works. The webinar complements the publication of new guidance on Brexit produced by the CLC's working group.
Darrell Matthews, head of membership and business engagement at ACE, said: “While it has, in many respects, been usurped by COVID-19, the changes Brexit brings are fundamental to how many businesses operate and the ongoing uncertainty means it’s difficult to keep on top of everything. Our webinar is designed to provide practical support, advice and guidance to help businesses deal with the many uncertainties ahead. With the end of the year deadline fast approaching, I’d encourage all firms to sign-up to make sure their company is ahead of the issues."
