The annual National Apprenticeship Week is now underway with ACE and its members celebrating the role of apprenticeships in our industry.
The 15th week-long campaign brings together business and apprentices to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships bring to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
This year’s theme is “build the future” reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses can develop a talented workforce equipped to deal with anything the future brings.
As always, activity will be spearheaded by the Technician Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC), ACE’s dedicated expert service for members on apprenticeships. As well as highlighting member excellence on TAC’s dedicated twitter account, we also have a blog from TAC chair, Gareth Drought (Tony Gee).
Commenting on the launch of National Apprenticeship Week, Claire Clifford, director of people, skills and culture at ACE said: “We’re delighted to once again be supporting National Apprentice Week. We’d urge all member companies to get involved in any way they can. It is a great opportunity to celebrate apprentice successes while putting employers in the shop-window for future recruits.”
