The Construction Leadership Council (CLC), in partnership with the Department for Business, Enterprise and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), have launched an exciting new competition to find innovative solutions for our Net Zero future.
Chaired by Andrew Griffith MP, the Government’s Net Zero champion, the Dragons’ Den style panel will review the entries from emerging professionals.
The competition will help to bring forward practical ideas which are almost ready for implementation or suitable for wider industry adoption. It will provide an opportunity to harness the power and voice of emerging professionals already working in the sector, support to accelerate their practical ideas to implementation.
The winning entry will receive a cash prize of £1,000, support from a CLC member to help develop and implement their proposal into the sector, and a 12 month mentoring arrangement with a CLC business leader.
Emerging professionals interested in applying can find out more details on the CLC website.
Andrew Griffith MP said: “This competition is a fantastic opportunity for young professionals to make a mark on the construction industry by offering them the chance to have their innovative ideas to make the sector more sustainable."
