ACE is one of 35 partners who have contributed to the publication of A Bold New Vision for the Built Environment. With input from over 75 industry leaders, the vision describes a built environment which enables people and nature to flourish side-by-side for generations to come.

For the first time in our history, we have the tools and technology to work together to make this future vision a reality and to manage the built environment in a way that addresses the biggest challenges of our time – from the climate crisis to the pandemic.

Aligned to the political ambitions to build back better, the simple yet radical vision calls for people and nature to be at the heart of how we design, manage, build and use our existing built environment. It describes a safe, high quality, resilient and low carbon built environment system that works together to meet the needs of our future society, environment and economy.

These issues are addressed across ACE’s workstreams. Whether its discussing meeting Net Zero ambitions, levelling up and productive places, the transport needs of tomorrow, or unblocking the pipeline of projects, our groups provide members with an opportunity to take the next step on from this document, and turn aspiration into reality.
