Coinciding with the inaugural T Levels Celebration Week (4 to 8 July), a new campaign which celebrates the opportunity for employers and employees for the new courses which launched in September 2020, ACE shares details of an upcoming special HR forum on Friday 15 July at 11am, exploring the qualification.
Joining ACE will be Jeb (Abdus) Samad, T Level readiness manager at the Department of Education who will share the opportunity of T Levels for your organisation. The online session will take place in the first half of the HR forum and is open to anyone working for an ACE member.
The new qualification – which are equaivalent to three A-levels – has been developed in collaboration with employers and education providers and are designed to meet the needs of industry while preparing students for future work, further technical training or study.
Unlike previous qualifications, 80% of the courses take place in the classroom with 20% in work placements. There are a range of T Levels available to those interested in the construction sector, with Design, Surveying and Planning for construction of most interest to ACE members.
