ADAS LAUNCHES NEW INFRASTRUCTURE AND RURAL SERVICES BUSINESS

Independent agriculture and environmental consultancy ADAS has appointed Jane Kenny as managing director of its new business, ADAS Infrastructure and Rural Services (ADAS IRS), which will see the firm, an RSK company, advising landowners and farmers on all matters affecting the countryside.

Given evolving government policy, including the Agriculture Act 2020, environment bill and the prime minister’s ten-point plan for a green industrial revolution, ADAS IRS believes that it is ideally placed to support landowners, farmers and businesses on the various issues they face.

Kenny, a chartered surveyor and expert estate manager with 20 years’ experience, joins ADAS from Savills. Based in Norfolk and operating across the UK, ADAS IRS is already advising on several nationally significant infrastructure projects including offshore wind farms and new and improved highways.

“ADAS Infrastructure and Rural Services can support on a whole spectrum of land agency matters,” said Kenny.  “We will be delighted to assist landowners, farmers and managers with anything rural, including landlord and tenant issues, farming matters, traditional estate management, compulsory purchase matters and business advice. We recognise that the agricultural and rural sectors are facing unprecedented times and special consideration will be needed to protect clients’ interests and to help them to realise the best return for their assets,” she said.

“The new business is a fantastic addition to the ADAS brand and extends our service offering,” said ADAS managing director Andrew Walker. “We look forward to developing synergies between ADAS IRS and other ADAS and RSK businesses, including ADAS Agriculture and Land Management, RSK Habitat Management and the ADAS Planning, Landscape and Development team,” he said.
