BOOK NOW! ACE ROUNDTABLE ON NEURODIVERSITY

ACE's next keenly-anticipated Building Inclusivity online roundtable on Wednesday 7 September explores neurodivergent working.

With an array of guest speakers from ACE members who will share their own personal experiences, as well as subject matter experts from organisations including inclusivity experts Constructing Rainbows, Diversity Scotland and Inclusive Environments, as well as Aspierations which forms bridges between the high-functioning autistic community and employers, the discussion will share real-life inspiration and actionable insight.

The roundtable will ensure attendees leave with an understanding of how to create more inclusive workplaces, and some simple steps that can be taken to help organisations seize the skills opportunities afforded by creating more welcoming workplaces for the neurodivergent community.

In the spirit of the campaign, attendance is open to all. Book your free place now.

Commenting on the roundtable, ACE's director of people, skills and culture, Claire Clifford said: “We’re delighted to welcome the panel for our second inclusivity roundtable, exploring the opportunities around neurodivergent working. The discussion will not only share real-life experiences, but some simple steps that organisations can take to create more inclusive workplaces. I look forward to seeing you at our event on Wednesday 7 September.”

Joining Claire will be Laurel Herman and Gabriel Herman (Aspierations), Rebecca Bettison (AECOM), Richard Wood (Hoare Lea), Tony McCaffery (Diversity Scotland), Sharon Slinger (Constructing Rainbows) and Gillian Burgis Smith (Inclusive Environments).

Building Inclusivity is the new cross-industry ED&I campaign from ACE and EIC which aims to help members create more inclusive workspaces ensuring the opportunity for both meeting skills shortages and retaining talent is seized. Initially focusing on three key areas of inclusivity, it will bring together experts, emerging professionals and industry leaders to discuss the barriers to the creation of inclusive workspaces for LGBTQ+, neurodivergent and Ethnic Minority communities.
