The Association for Consultancy (ACE) and the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) have teamed up to organise an online discussion on the Construction Playbook.
Published in December 2020, the playbook sets out key policies and guidance for how public works projects and programmes are assessed, procured and delivered. These are set out in 14 key policies for how the government should assess, procure and deliver public works projects and programmes which all central government departments and their arms-length bodies are expected to follow on a ‘comply or explain’ basis.
Crucially, the right delivery model approach, as outlined in the playbook, will enable clients and industry to work together to deliver the best possible outcomes by determining the optimal split of roles and responsibilities. At this ACE/CLC webinar on 1 December 2021, attendees will learn more about the delivery model approach, best practice and also the Construction Playbook itself.
Guest speakers at the event include Laurence Brett (ACE), Tim Bowen (Keltbray Holdings), Andrew Cubitt (HS2), Fergus Harradence (BEIS) and Terry Stocks (Atkins).
The webinar is free to attend and is open to all.
