FAITHFUL+GOULD NAMED EDUCATION CONSULTANCY OF THE YEAR

Faithful+Gould has been recognised as the top education consultant in Scotland in this year’s Learning Places Scotland awards.

The award recognises a consultancy that has a proven track record of delivering outstanding education projects in Scotland.

It is the third time in four years that the team has taken the Consultancy of the Year title.

Faithful+Gould is delivering a large portion of Scotland’s LEIP-funded schools across seven local authorities and live projects at Scotland’s largest universities, including new projects in Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews and Aberdeen totalling £200m.

Stewart Macleod, Faithful+Gould managing director Scotland and Ireland, said: “Working on such an amazing portfolio of education projects is a massive privilege.

“I’m delighted for our team to have been recognised for their efforts in delivering success for our clients by winning the Consultancy of the Year award once again.”

As well as the Consultancy of the Year award, Faithful+Gould projects - Mazumdar-Shaw Advanced Reasearch Centre (ARC) and Early Learning & Childcare 1140 Hours Expansion Programme - received further award recognition:

  • Pupil/Student Experience (Winner): University of Glasgow – ARC
  • Innovation Delivering Value (Winner): Aberdeenshire Council - Early Learning & Childcare 1140 Hours Expansion Programme

The University of Glasgow opened the £116m Mazumdar-Shaw Advanced Research Centre (ARC) in January 2022.

The ARC represents a world-class transformative vision which will profoundly change the way in which the University of Glasgow’s research is initiated, conducted, taught, and communicated to the wider community.

The design encourages collaboration, cross-pollination of ideas and networking, providing undergraduate and postgraduate students with the richest learning experience.

Aberdeenshire Council’s 1140 Hours Expansion Programme enabled increased nursery pupil capacity throughout the local authority area.

The £27m programme delivered 72 refurbished and three new-build nursery facilities. This programme creates inspiring, resilient and sustainable nurseries across a large, diverse urban and rural area.

Faithful+Gould has continued to grow in the education sector, with it's Scottish offices alone having delivered 86 education projects.

These facilities have created around 17,000 new student places, including more than 350 SEN pupil places and improved classroom conditions for more than 22,000 students and staff.

In the Scottish education market, Faithful+Gould is delivering 35 live projects with a total construction value of more than £1.5bn.
