MASTERCLASS ON LEADERSHIP IN A DIGITAL AGE

A free industry masterclass looking at the key principles and best practice of digital working is being held next week by the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE).

The online event, Leadership in a Digital Age: People, organised by ACE’s Future Skills Group, takes place on Tuesday 6 July 2021 and will look at how to lead a virtual team in a changing environment and what strategies can create trust and maximise performance.

The masterclass follows the launch of ACE’s Learning in a Digital Age series and the interactive online session focuses on people and will feature two facilitators co-chairing the sessions.

Designed to focus on practical solutions, rather than conceptual discussions, attendees will receive a range of tools to download and take back to their own businesses, including a team alignment map to help plan the next steps for their teams on their digital journey. The session will also touch on key issues such as leading virtual teams and exploring hybrid working behaviours.

Joining Lara Potter chair of ACE’s Future Skills and director, workforce for the future at Arcadis at the event will be Jane Grant, director of learning and development at WSP and Emily Mahoney, learning and development manager also from WSP.

Commenting on the event, ACE’s director of people, skills and culture, Claire Clifford said: “More than a webinar, this series is a masterclass in both name and function and will provide attendees with a range of tools to deal with the new ways of working. These come highly recommended by ACE for all leaders, no matter the size of their business.”

The 6 July people masterclass will be followed by further online sessions on technology in September and clients in October.
