Mott MacDonald has appointed Norrie Westbrook as its divisional general manager for buildings and cities in Northern Ireland, Ireland and Scotland.
Westbrook has been with the business since 2016 and was previously development director for both the highways division and then buildings and cities. A chartered civil engineer, he has been a lay member of the Infrastructure Committee at Heriot-Watt University where he also gained his masters in Civil Engineering with European Studies and takes over from Andrew Oldfield, the Mott MacDonald unit commercial director for buildings and cities.
Commenting on his new role, Westbrook said: “This is an exciting time to lead the division as we evolve into the buildings and cities unit in 2022 with excellent growth potential in both Scotland and Ireland. I am really looking forward to working with our clients, partners, and teams to continue to deliver a range of exciting projects across multiple sectors.”
