MOTT MACDONALD APPOINTS SALLY SUDWORTH AS HEAD OF SUSTAINABILITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE

Sally Sudworth has joined Mott MacDonald as its global head of sustainability and climate change. 

Sudworth joins the consultancy from the UK Environment Agency, where she led the net zero carbon strategy for infrastructure and was sustainability lead for flooding and coastal. 

Previously director for the Low Zero Carbon Hub in Wales, she has a wealth of experience working in both the public and private sector. 

She was a director at the UK Engineers for Overseas Development for ten years, overseeing the delivery of sustainable community led projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, helping to alleviate poverty and improving the quality of people’s lives whilst helping graduates in the UK become professionally qualified. 

She sits on a number of industry groups addressing the net zero coalition and climate change agenda including the UK Institution of Civil Engineers Carbon Project. She also co-chairs the Institute of Asset Management Climate Emergency group and is founder of the Climate Emergency Group at the UK Women's Engineering Society. 

At Mott MacDonald she will work with the consultancy’s sustainability and climate change leaders to help clients face the climate emergency through creating climate resilient places, as well as supporting the consultancy in extending capabilities around net zero carbon and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
