Graeme Castle has joined SYSTRA as operations director to lead the delivery of a wide portfolio of major projects in the UK & Ireland.
Castle brings over 30-years of experience to SYSTRA’s team, having previously been involved in the delivery of large infrastructure, construction and civil engineering projects including the Network Rail’s national electrification programme, Eglinton Crosstown, East West Rail, Crossrail, London Underground stations programme, Stafford and West Coast Main line upgrade.
He brings a wealth of leadership expertise and project delivery know-how developed during senior roles with Aspin, ABC Electrification, Laing O’Rourke, Morgan Sindall and Balfour Beatty.
Supporting SYSTRA’s continued growth in the UK, Castle takes up a pivotal role within SYSTRA UK & Ireland’s engineering division. He takes responsibility for delivery of SYSTRA’s engineering project portfolio, including the Transpennine Route Upgrade, East Coast Power Supply Upgrade and HS2.
He will also lead the regionalisation of SYSTRA’s conventional rail and infrastructure activity, supporting SYSTRA’s approach to client centricity.
