Engineering design specialists Tony Gee and Partners has expanded its international business into Canada.
Tony Gee Canada is based in Toronto, Ontario and will initially target the transportation and transit sectors, focussing on rail projects and contractor support for both permanent and temporary works.
Leveraging the robust engineering talent pipeline in the Toronto region, Tony Gee aims to create more than 30 high-value, technical jobs within the first four years of operation.
The company’s Canadian business expansion will be led by managing director Jon Powell, who has extensive experience in delivering infrastructure projects. The team will also receive additional support from other offices in the UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia and UAE.
Powell said: “I am very excited to be part of our latest venture into Canada. This expansion enables us to share our design expertise, throughout the project lifecycle in a new market.
