The annual European CEO Awards, now in its sixth year, seek to highlight exceptional leadership and business best-practice within Pan-European engineering and consultancy firms.
Chosen from this year’s pool of nominated entries across Europe, the shortlist was selected by a judging panel composed of industry experts and leaders throughout Europe.
ACE chief executive, Dr Nelson Ogunshakin OBE said: “In 2016 all candidates had strong credentials, with shortlisted leaders fostering progress in their respective businesses, pushing beyond the results seen solely through resources."
A testament to the strong leadership of our industry throughout Europe, shortlisted candidates are to be highly commended for their career achievements.
On those shortlisted, member of the 2016 judging panel Jacolien Eijer-de Jong managing director of NLingenieurs, the Dutch Association of Consulting Engineers said: "We are all proud of the achievements and the passions of the candidates towards the success of their respective businesses as well as the industry at large."
The 2016 judging panel will select overall winners from amongst those shortlisted.

The awards ceremony will be held at a gala dinner in London on Tuesday 8th November at One Great George Street.
The awards ceremony is taking place as part of the 2016 European CEO Conference, Disruptive Forces - Making our industry ready and fit for the Future, occurring 9th and 10th November 2016.
CBG Consultants wins ACE’s SME Prize Draw 2016
Occurring in conjunction with the judging of the European CEO Awards 2016, was the prize draw for ACE’s SME benchmarking initiative. Now in its 11th year, ACE’s benchmarking report highlights important industry trends and performance through complex data analysis, comprising of a general industry report as well as a report for industry SMEs.
As an incentive for increased participation, all SME member firms who completed and returned data submissions were entered into a prize draw for a free ticket to attend the European CEO Conference 2016.
This year’s winner of ACE’s SME Prize Draw is CBG Consultants Ltd, based out of Oxford and London.
